After participating in several water rescue and geological disaster drills, Taizhou Mingxin Firefighting Technology Co., Ltd. discovered that the utility of smoke extractors is far broader than we had previously imagined-they are needed to supply fresh air during tunnel collapses, to disperse toxic gases during chemical plant leaks, and even to provide ventilation during subway service interruptions. Consequently, we have designated this specific unit as "Dedicated for Emergency Rescue."
We affectionately refer to this YY4.7/4.5-60 Emergency Rescue Smoke Extractor as our "All-Rounder." With a rated airflow of 60,230 m³/h, it stands as the "heavyweight" among all our models. However, being large in stature does not mean a lack of agility. In 2023, a chlorine gas leak occurred at a chemical plant in a certain region, sending billowing clouds of white smoke across the site. The rescue team positioned this unit at the upwind side and ran it at full speed; it successfully dispersed the chlorine gas emanating from the leak point, thereby securing precious operational time for the leak-sealing team.
Mingxin's engineers have equipped this unit with a special feature: adjustable fan speed, ranging from 2,500 to 3,600 RPM. Why is adjustable speed necessary for emergency rescue? Because different scenarios present different requirements. Dispersing toxic gases at a chemical plant demands maximum airflow, so you crank it up to 3,600 RPM; clearing smoke from a subway station requires sustained, stable operation, so you dial it down to 2,500 RPM to conserve fuel and extend operating time.
We have outfitted the unit with large rear wheels and a retractable handle. While these two design features may appear simple, they offer exceptional convenience in practice. The large rear wheels allow the unit to traverse ditches and obstacles without getting stuck, while the retractable handle tucks away neatly when not in use-saving space-and extends instantly when needed for transport. Whether lifted by two people or pulled along by one, the choice is entirely yours.


The protective outer frame serves as a vital safety safeguard for rescue personnel. In the aftermath of geological disasters, sites are often strewn with rubble, making it inevitable that the equipment will sustain impacts. Thanks to this sturdy metal frame, any impacts are absorbed by the frame itself, leaving the internal engine and impeller-the unit's critical components-undamaged. As long as the machine remains operational, rescue efforts can continue uninterrupted.
The unit also features a built-in angle adjustment mechanism that can be easily operated with a simple foot pedal. Previously, adjusting the angle required bending down to reach the mechanism-a task made even more difficult when wearing gloves, as it was nearly impossible to get a firm enough grip to turn the adjustment knob. Now, a simple tap with the foot and a lift of the hand causes the fan to tilt upward; another tap and a downward press causes it to tilt back down. The entire process can be completed without removing gloves, without bending over, and while keeping one's eyes fixed straight ahead.
The unit offers a continuous runtime of 2 hours. Why 2 hours? Because our research indicates that in the majority of emergency rescue scenarios-from the moment of arrival at the scene to the final withdrawal-the critical "golden hour" window for rescue operations falls within this 2-hour timeframe. This 2-hour continuous runtime is more than sufficient to support a complete rescue mission.
Noise levels are maintained at 97 decibels. Whether deployed in open wilderness or within the confines of a tunnel, this volume strikes the perfect balance: it serves as an audible confirmation that the machine is operational, yet remains low enough to ensure that the incident commander can clearly hear communications over their radio.
Featuring an impeller with a diameter of 430 ± 20 mm-combined with a high rotational speed-the unit generates a powerful airflow capable of reaching great distances with exceptional penetration force. Whether the setting is a chemical plant's tank farm or a subway station platform, this system ensures that fresh air is delivered effectively to even the deepest recesses of the site.
