What is the greatest fear during a high-rise fire? Smoke surging upward through the stairwell. Residents living on upper floors attempt to flee downward, only to collide head-on with the dense smoke rising from below. During product research, an incident commander from a local fire brigade told Taizhou Mingxin Firefighting Technology Co., Ltd.: "If we could suppress the smoke right at the ground floor, the people upstairs would be able to make it out alive." This statement became the guiding principle-the original intent-behind the development of this machine.

We call this YY4.5/5.0-20 high-power gasoline smoke ejector the "Smoke Suppressor." Its mission is to be positioned at the ground-floor entrance, utilizing immense air pressure to firmly pin down the dense smoke within the stairwell, thereby clearing a safe escape route for those on the upper floors. Its rated airflow volume is 20,107 m³/h. What does this figure signify? It means the air it generates acts like an invisible wall; does the smoke want to rise? Not a chance.

The power source is a GX200 engine with a rated output of 4.5 kW. We meticulously selected this specific engine for one defining characteristic: rugged durability. It operates flawlessly across a wide temperature range, from -10°C to +40°C. Whether facing the bitter cold of the North or the scorching heat of the South, this engine performs reliably without complaint.

When designing this machine, Mingxin engineers prioritized structural simplicity above all else. The entire unit consists of just a few major components: the gasoline engine, air duct, base frame, handles, impeller, and protective guards. Fewer parts mean fewer potential points of failure. Firefighters can grasp its operation at a glance-it is intuitive to understand and easy to use, eliminating the need to pore over thick instruction manuals.

For safety netting, we implemented a "double-insurance" system; protective screens are installed at both the air intake and the air outlet. This serves a dual purpose: protecting both the personnel and the machine itself. During a field test, a wrench was inadvertently sucked toward the intake by the airflow; it struck the safety screen with a loud clang but was prevented from entering the housing. Had that screen not been in place, the impeller would have been destroyed, necessitating a complete return of the machine to the factory for major repairs.

Continuous operation testing is a mandatory prerequisite before any unit leaves our factory. We power up the machine and let it run at full throttle for extended periods-a rigorous endurance trial to ensure absolute reliability. Personnel stand by to keep a close watch, checking for any oil leaks, loose screws, or signs that components are about to come apart. Any machine that fails to clear this inspection is absolutely not permitted to leave the facility.

This unit weighs 39.87 kg. It can be moved by two people lifting it together, or even by a single person dragging it along. The base is designed for exceptional stability, resting firmly on four contact points; consequently, even when operating at full throttle, the machine remains completely free of vibration or wobbling.

The fuel requirements are straightforward: it runs on 92-octane gasoline, which is readily available at any gas station. There is no need to mix special oils, nor do you have to worry about accidentally using the wrong fuel and damaging the machine.
