When a fire breaks out in a large warehouse, the greatest fear is that the smoke cannot be effectively dispersed. Taizhou Mingxin Fire Technology Co., Ltd. visited over a dozen logistics parks across the Yangtze River Delta region, where warehouse supervisors consistently remarked: "In a facility spanning thousands of square meters, if smoke becomes trapped and stagnant, the entire inventory is ruined." Consequently, we engineered this "high-capacity lung" of a machine-specifically designed to tackle the challenges of large-scale spaces.
Internally, we affectionately refer to this YY4.7/4.5-60 Mobile Fire Smoke Extraction Fan as the "Wind Dominator." Its rated airflow reaches a staggering 60,230 m³/h. What does this mean in practical terms? It is equivalent to completely exchanging the air within a standard-sized swimming pool in just one minute. In early 2024, a fire broke out at a large logistics warehouse in Suzhou, causing smoke to engulf the entire sorting area. Positioned at the entrance and running at full speed for two hours, this machine single-handedly transformed visibility from "pitch black"-where one couldn't see their own hand-to a level where safe movement was once again possible.
The power core of this machine is a 4.7 kW gasoline engine. Its rotational speed can be freely adjusted between 2,500 and 3,600 RPM. Why allow for adjustable speed? Because conditions at a fire scene change in an instant. Initially, when smoke is dense, maximum airflow is required to blast it away; later, as the smoke thins, the speed can be lowered to conserve fuel-ensuring there is ample power remaining for subsequent cleanup operations.
Our designers at Mingxin also addressed a critical practical issue: how does one maneuver such a large machine? We equipped this unit with oversized rear wheels. These are no ordinary small casters; featuring a large diameter and wide tread, they allow the machine to be pushed with ease, even across gravelly terrain. Need two people to lift it? Not at all. A single person can pull it along-much as one would effortlessly pull a wheeled suitcase.
The protective outer frame serves as our pledge of safety to firefighters. The entire machine is encased within a robust metal framework; should it collide with an object amidst the chaos of an emergency, the frame absorbs the impact, leaving the vital internal components unharmed. The frame also features retractable handles. When not in use, they retract flush with the frame to save space; when needed, they extend to an ergonomic length, making the machine effortless to push or pull.
Adjusting the angle is as simple as stepping on a pedal-thanks to our integrated angle-adjustment mechanism. With older models, adjusting the angle required bending down to tighten screws-a task that was virtually impossible while wearing thick firefighting gloves. Now, however, the process is seamless: a simple tap with the foot followed by an upward lift tilts the fan head upward; another tap and a downward press tilt it back down. The entire operation is hands-free, allowing for easy adjustment even while wearing a face mask.
The impeller is designed with a diameter of 430 ± 20 mm. This specific dimension, combined with high rotational speed, strikes an optimal balance between airflow volume and air pressure. The high airflow volume ensures a long projection distance, while the sufficient air pressure provides strong penetration power. Consequently, fresh air can effectively penetrate even into the deepest recesses of a warehouse packed high with shelving.
Noise levels are maintained at 97 decibels. While this volume may sound loud in isolation, within the vast expanse of a large warehouse, the sound does not travel far; it neither constitutes a public nuisance nor significantly hinders command and communication efforts.
