Inflatable Rescue Cushion

Mingxin Firefighting's lightweight rescue air cushion-Model XJD-P-6×4×16-is a product we developed specifically for rapid response scenarios and operations within confined spaces. Its creation was inspired by feedback from frontline firefighters: "Could the equipment be made a little lighter? A little faster?"

With this question in mind, we conducted extensive testing in the materials laboratory at our Taizhou facility. Ultimately, we selected a **high-strength, lightweight PVC composite fabric**, with a controlled thickness of 0.30 ± 0.02 mm. While maintaining structural integrity, this material allowed us to reduce the air cushion's total weight to 58 ± 2 kg-nearly 25% lighter than standard models. Two firefighters can now quickly transport and deploy the unit, conserving physical energy and saving critical time.

It may be lighter, but safety remains uncompromising. This air cushion strictly adheres to the XF631-2006 standard and has successfully passed rigorous testing by the National Fire Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. Our actual test data for deceleration rates are as follows: Head: 22.38g; Chest: 21.59g; Pelvis: 20.92g. These figures demonstrate that, despite the lighter and thinner material, its cushioning and protective capabilities remain stable and reliable. Furthermore, its inflation time of 48.32 seconds and air replenishment time of 19.45 seconds are both faster than those of standard models.

We also optimized its folding and packaging method. The current package dimensions-0.7m × 0.5m × 0.5m-allow it to fit more flexibly into the storage compartments of fire trucks without taking up excessive space. The air vents retain their circular design, ensuring uniform and stable air release.
