Rolling Fire Extinguisher

In 2022, we received an inquiry from a logistics park located in southern China. Their requirements were straightforward: the warehouse aisles were only 1.2 meters wide-too narrow for large fire trucks to enter, yet too extensive for standard handheld fire extinguishers to handle effectively. What they needed was a compact, self-contained firefighting unit that could be easily wheeled around and provide a continuous spray.

The solution we delivered was this Cart-Mounted Fine Water Mist System.

This is no mere water tank slapped onto a set of wheels. The chassis features a custom-engineered design with a reinforced load-bearing structure. The push handle is height-adjustable-ranging from a minimum of 1.1 meters to a maximum of 1.3 meters-ensuring that users of varying heights can find a comfortable and ergonomic operating position. The wheels are fitted with solid rubber tires; they require no inflation, are puncture-proof, and navigate over door thresholds and floor obstructions without getting stuck.

The true strength of this product lies not in its technical specifications, but in its practical application scenarios. We have equipped this unit with an extended hose-featuring a standard length of 10 meters-allowing the cart to be positioned at the aisle entrance while the operator carries the nozzle deep into the shelving racks to tackle the fire. Once a water tank is depleted, there is no need to wait; the operator can simply switch directly to a spare reservoir. For factory shipments, an optional dual-tank bracket is available; this configuration allows the cart to carry two tanks simultaneously, enabling a seamless transition from the first tank to the second without any interruption in the water flow.

This system proves particularly effective in environments such as logistics warehouses, small-to-medium-sized manufacturing facilities, and the back-of-house service corridors of large shopping malls. In 2023, a client provided feedback regarding an incident involving a fire in an electrical distribution cabinet: using this cart, they were able to fully extinguish the blaze in less than five minutes-from the moment the cart arrived on-scene to the moment the fire was out. In contrast, they estimated that it would have taken the municipal fire brigade at least seven minutes just to run from the entrance to the location of the fire.

Essentially, this cart is designed to help users seize those critical seven minutes.

The unit also fully complies with the XF1298-2016 safety standard. Its safety system is comprehensive and complete: a pressure relief valve, a flow control valve, and a low-water protection mechanism are all included as standard features. We have even incorporated a parking brake into the cart's base, ensuring that the unit remains securely stationary-even on sloped surfaces-without drifting or sliding.

Mingxin's rationale behind developing this product is simple: in certain environments, large-scale equipment cannot gain access, while small-scale handheld devices are insufficient for the task. Therefore, we created a unit that fits perfectly into that specific niche-striking the ideal balance between size, mobility, and firefighting capability.
